How long does it take to fix my computer?

There is no hard-and-fast timeframe. The repair time will depend on several factors. These include whether parts are required, the actual issue with the device and how many repairs we have at the time. We endeavour to complete repairs on a first in – first out basis and as quickly as possible.

My data is gone. What are the chances you can get it back?

Depending on the damage or reason your data is missing we are able to retrieve the missing data. Where the data is not readily recoverable, we work with a specialist lab to retrieve the data.

How do I know if my computer is worth fixing?

While at surface level it can be an expensive proposition to repair your computer it can often be the most cost-effective solution. However, if we believe your device is not worthy, we will advise you before you make any further investment in repairs.

Do you charge a deposit or diagnostic fees?

There is a non-refundable $50 diagnostic fee. This fee is payable at the time the device is left for servicing. The fee covers the technician's time to determine the issue and quote the repair. If you proceed to repair the $50 is attributed to the final cost payable.

My computer is more than five years old. Can you still fix it?

Many old computers continue to work effectively and can be repaired. We will advise if we believe yours is past its use-by-date.

Do you offer payment options?

All repairs must be paid for at the time of collection. At this stage we do not offer after pay style options. We accept all major credit cards and cash as well as the option for bank transfer. Tax invoices are available for all repairs (please advise when you arrive).

Do you offer a warranty on repairs?

We offer a six-month warranty on all services. All parts are purchased for your specific repair and come with a manufacturer or supplier warranty with varying timeframes dependent on the part.

Do you repair Macs?

Our technicians are skilled in both Mac and PC and offer a full repair service including resolving hardware and software issues.
